Terms of Service

The short version: we turn photos of your pet into fun AI portraits, once a month, for a monthly fee. Be kind, upload only pets you have the right to photograph, and you can cancel anytime.

Membership & billing

Membership is $4.99/month, billed automatically via Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your membership stays active through the end of the paid period. Portraits already delivered remain yours to keep.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the portraits we create for you, and you may use them for personal purposes. By uploading, you confirm you have the right to use those photos. Please upload photos of pets only — our service is not for images of people.

How portraits are made

Portraits are generated by artificial intelligence from your reference photos. Results are stylised interpretations, not exact reproductions, and occasional imperfect results are part of the medium. We generate house styles only and do not imitate specific living artists or trademarked characters.

Acceptable use

Don't upload content that is illegal, infringing, or depicts people without consent. We may decline or remove content and, in serious cases, end a membership.

Refunds

Because portraits are produced on demand, monthly fees are generally non-refundable, but we're reasonable — if something went wrong, email hello@monocledmenagerie.com and we'll make it right.

No warranty; liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.
